    Coming to Irondale – GeoTour

The 2015 GeoTour is a collection of geocaches spread throughout the 7 hamlets that make up the Geocaching Capital of Canada.  Each family-friendly cache shares a chuckle, an interesting fact or a breath-taking location.

A downloadable passport helps you to keep track of your finds, and milestone rewards keep you coming back until you’ve found all 100 geocaches.   Download the entire Geocaching Capital of Canada GeoTour at:   www.geocaching.com/play/geotours/geocaching-capital-of-canada

Several geocaches are hidden in Irondale at picturesque locations and historical sites within the hamlet.  Two are at the Furnace Falls Park.  After caching, enjoy a bit to eat at one o the County's many eateries or pack a picnic lunch and spend a relaxing afternoon by the falls.

Another day, pick up where you left off.

2016 brings us a new type of GeoTour.  I can't give you any details.  Check the above website often for the release of information.

The rest of the municipality of Highlands East is all “Yours to Explore” so come, and let this unique collection of 100 caches take you on another exploration of pristine lakes, scenic locations, and historical sites.
