Ever wondered what different restaurants, chefs and catering businesses serve? Where to buy fresh foods - grown locally? This summer you can find out at the Highlands Food & Beverage Showcase - a showcase of culinary related businesses in the area.
The concept is simple - you purchase a passport on site that allows you to sample the food & drink of the participating vendors. When your passport is full, you return it to the main gate. The vendors could be restaurants, catering companies, wine & beer makers, grain farmers, seed producers, food utensil companies, market gardeners and community organizations. There will be entertainment for your enjoyment as well.
Irondale will be participating in this event. Lots of displays for you to browse, sample some venison and consider purchasing one of the souvenir items available.
All profits from the 2017 Highlands Food & Beverage Showcase will be divided between a local Haliburton County organization and the global organization of H.A.V.E. (help a village effort)
Passports are limited - reserve yours today by calling Diane Dawson at 705-286-3202 or email her at dawson.wintergreen @sympatico.ca
