Irondale is a town that is rich in history and vibrant with activity. There is always lots going on here.  You will want to drop by this site often to be sure you don't miss anything.

We strive very hard in Irondale to keep things running smoothly.  Very rarely do events need to be rescheduled or cancelled altogether.

Season Series Special

This year the Bark Lake Cultural Developments is hosting four - count them - four music concerts.  We start with Russell deCarle on May 28, then in August we host Whiskey Jack with Stories and Songs from Stompin' Tom on the 6th, Samantha Martin and Delta Sugar on the 27th and in September we host our own Ryan Vanlieshout.

We are offering a Season Series Special price of $95 if you wish to attend all four concerts.  This special saves you a little money, a bonus item and you will enjoy a variety of musical talents.  All the proceeds from these concerts helps to preserve Irondale's colourful history.

Irondale is part of the GeoTour

Exciting news - a new GeoTour is coming

2015 saw Irondale included in a fantastic GeoTour. 
2016 is the launch of a new type of GeoTour, and Irondale is once again part of it.  Stay tuned to learn more.

The GeoTour is a collection of geocaches spread throughout the 7 hamlets that make up the Geocaching Capital of Canada.  Each family-friendly cache shares a chuckle, an interesting fact or a breath-taking location.  A downloadable passport helps you to keep track of your finds and milestone rewards keep you coming back until you’ve found all 100 geocaches.  Read more ...

Church Services

The Irondale Church services are held Sunday mornings at 10 am. from June to Thanksgiving Sunday.
Pastor Mark Penman gives interesting, easy to understand sermons.  Members of the congregation take turns with the readings, hymns and other preparations.
